Mbarara District has benefited from the development of the Industrial Park at Rushozi Parish Rubaya Sub County. The Project is implemented by the the State house of Uganda and is comprised of the following facilities. The project is in its final stage and consists of the following facilities which are now  98% complete:

The Main activities will be Carpentry, Tailoring Block, Shoe making Block, Bakery Block , Block Cutting and Stone shaping

Boys and Girls dormitories

     Staff Quarters

Welding Block and tailoring block

Administration block

Water awaits connection and is going to be obtained from Rushozi dam. Electrity is not yet connected but management is in touch with UMEME and poles can be installed any time.
